Michael Claudio, Owner/CEO

Mike Claudio is the CEO and co-founder of EHD Technologies, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 2002, EHD Tech has provided quality engineering and lean implementation services to a variety of manufacturing sectors, including the automotive, electronic, agriculture and military industries.

Mike entered the automotive industry as a product engineer for Nissan Motor Manufacturing (Smyrna, TN) in 1991. He worked in both the interior and electrical engineering groups while at Nissan, with complete part management responsibilities for product, process and supplier quality control.

In 1996, construction of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Vance, Alabama was nearing completion. Mike was asked to join the Mercedes team to help implement their production system, an adaptation of the Toyota Production System. Working with both interior systems and electrical components, he developed these parts for system launch readiness and conducted team member training. Later as a manager in the Supplier Quality engineering chassis and electric teams, he coordinated the launch of the diesel engine variant at a sister plant in Graz, Austria. Mike’s management responsibilities then expanded to include Receiving Inspection and Supplier Development Groups.

As Mike traveled through North America, Japan, and Europe, he encountered companies struggling to meet new program deadlines and quality expectations. He saw a need for skilled quality engineering support and launched EHD Technologies. For the past ten years, the EHD team has provided value through focused project deliverables, matching the right technical resource, and providing project oversight to businesses in the manufacturing sector. Today, EHD Technologies serves customers in 16 states and six countries, providing quality engineering, 3rd Party quality and talent acquisition services.

Michael Huffman, Owner/CFO

EHD Technologies co-founder, Michael Huffman, earned his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. He entered the automotive industry with General Motors as a wiring harness customer service engineer to multiple vehicle assembly plants. He then progressed into wire harness and electrical center design as an application engineer and then a product release engineer. As the Saturn product development team leader, one of Michael’s main initiatives was warranty reduction. Leading a cross-functional team with a FMEA mentality, he drove Saturn’s wiring warranty to the best in the GM.

Michael’s next position was in advanced manufacturing quality planning. In this role, he helped Saturn launch their small car model change and the new midsize vehicle. He traveled extensively to Europe and Mexico to draw the global team and best practices together to achieve successful vehicle introductions. With the experience of global program introduction and a new Executive MBA from the University of Delaware, Michael was transferred to Delphi’s Cockpit and Console operations supporting Mercedes Benz in Alabama. There he managed the mid-cycle model change for the M-Class sport utility.

He then moved from Engineering to Sales and Account Management. Michael managed $140 million worth of business with Mercedes. He also helped improve profitability margins and developed processes that drove reductions in Accounts receivables. He left Delphi to help develop business for EHD Technologies, and he currently serves as Chief Financial Officer.

Jeff McKeehan, Owner/President

Jeff McKeehan, the President of EHD Technologies, has more than 20 years experience in manufacturing, operations, and quality management systems. As a former Director of Manufacturing Operations for a global supplier of electronic components, Jeff’s core competencies includes high-volume manufacturing, metal stamping, machining, molding, plating, and assembly.

Prior to joining EHD, Jeff served as the Vice-President of Business Operations for a leading quality control and engineering firm. A senior member of ASQ, Jeff earned a B.A. degree from Belmont Abbey College and a M.S. from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC.

Jeff Weisenauer, VP Sales and Marketing

Jeff Weisenauer has more than 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry and was self-employed for over 18 years. As the previous founder and President of Preferred Sourcing, which provided specially trained employees to assure the quality of its customers' parts and quality systems, Jeff directed and grew the business from a start-up to a $40 million dollar business. Among the OEM customers were Honda, BMW, Ford and GM. He has experience and a strong record of developing and cultivating relationships with customers and employees. Key experiences include managing large accounts, formulating and executing long-term strategies related to customer satisfaction, sales and marketing, human resources and financial business planning.
